Etiquette for Conference Call

Etiquette for Conference Call

It’s often easy for us to forget our manners in simple activities that have become part of our normal daily lives.

Take conference call, for example – it has been around for quite a while now, pretty sure it existed well before I was born (pardon me, a millennial writing here).

However, do we actually practice good manners during the conference call?

Spare 2 minutes of your time to check out the cool explainer video that we’ve created – it’s a good refresher course for us to maintain good etiquette for conference call.

In case you prefer to read than watch (not sure if these kind of people still exist today!), here are some important etiquette for conference call:

  1. Call in early
  2. Follow an agenda
  3. Mute in between speaking
  4. Introduce yourself
  5. Speak loudly and clearly
  6. Include everyone
  7. End with a recap
  8. Leave with a goodbye
